Chabot College students interviewed over 400 Hayward community members about their experiences living in Hayward. They asked community members over 20 questions in order to learn more about the hopes, dreams, and challenges they experience around housing. This website offers three ways to explore the community members’ responses: a GIS map that displays the locations of interviewees and their responses; presentations and essays that investigate topics, trends and themes that surfaced during the interviews; and a map/dashboard that displays quantitative data about the community members’ interviews.
